Common Christmas Tree Mishaps
Watch out for these zingers...
Christmas trees are a very fun part of the winter season. Buying it, putting it up, decorating it, and opening Christmas day presents next to it are all an important part of this time of year. However often times getting a tree from the store into the house and getting it set up can be a difficult task. Here are a few common mishaps to avoid!
- A person goes to the store, buys a tree, and successfully gets it home just to realize that it is way too tall for the house
- After tying the tree to the car in the store parking lot, a person begins to drive. A mile into the journey he notices that he didn’t tie it down very well and it comes flying right off the car and right into traffic.
- A person ties the tree to the car and upon getting in realizes that the tree is somewhat hanging over the windshield impairing vision. He is too lazy to fix it and wrecks on the way home.
- The tree is in the house and it’s time to put into the stand, but the stand is way too small for the tree to fit.
- After setting the tree up, a person wraps the lights around it just to realize that the end that needs to be plugged into the wall is at the top of the tree, not the bottom.
- People irresponsibly dispose of their tree by burning it and accidently set fire to fields or even buildings.
Believe it or not, all these things have and do happen! Some of these things are not too big a tragedy (like wrapping the lights incorrectly). Others however can take the jolly right out of Christmas (such as causing a huge accident because your tree flew off the car)! These are here to help you avoid such a catastrophe in your holiday season.
